Marketing Manager - Content

Join an exciting and fast-paced marketing team at a leading startup where you will gain a lot of very valuable experience working with a team of fun and supportive people.  You will be responsible for creating a ton of interesting, informative, and interactive content that will attract our target audience.  Some examples:

  • Writing marketing tips and creating related videos
  • Contributing to our Internet marketing blog
  • Authoring whitepapers
  • Assisting with content for our PR program
  • Other projects as directed or invented

It is more likely that you are a thoughtful and articulate marketing expert than a career marcom/content person - we care much more about the information contained in the content rather than how polished it is.

We would like our "Marketing Manager - Content" to have 5 to 10 years work experience and at least a bachelor's degree.  You need a working knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications, some video/screen recording software, and basic web and desktop publishing skills.  You should also have a solid understanding of the Internet and "modern marketing" practices around viral content, blogging, SEO and PPC.  This position reports to the VP Marketing.
